My wish list for 2008 is
1. To sell more books
2. To find a reputable literary agent
3. To get picked up by a major publishing house
4. To possibly mass sell my book to companies for their own promotional agenda
I’ve had radio interviews,book preview trailers on You Tube and many others,Blogs and social networking, book reviews (all positive), but alas sales are still not what they should be.

Well, that’s my wish list…..

Once they are completed, I have some training in web sales, but know nothing about how to effectively use podcasts, blogs, or other media to get the word out and generate interest and sales!!

I would like to know how to set up a membership site (or whatever) to make make residual income. This is something that I have been wanting to do for quite some time, but just have not figured out all the pieces yet.

I am most certainly interested in this topic. I think confirmation on some things and tricks of the trade on most others.

* Quick ways to get the word out about your book
Similar to the topic above, I know who I know and I am not sure how to get at who they know.

* Publishing and self-publishing options.. which is best?
I am really interested in this as I know both types of authors and am not sure which will allow me the freedom and satisfaction I imagine I would need to see things through.

* E-books, blogs and podcasts that create new profits
I always have a hard time monetizing things so this seems like a great topic. I once ventured a thought that if only I could sale 100K e-books for a dollar each I would have accomplished something great.

* How to turn your book or idea into a high ticket course
I think this will be a great avenue for me because I have a great knack for explaining things in terms relative to any audience from executives to kindergardeners to tech people.

* Where to find new readers for book
I have no clue about this and thus probably the greatest reason I am not a full time writer… that and being a chicken ;)

* Advertising online and off
I feel confident about a lot of my offline resources for advertising but I have quite a lot to learn I would imagine about the online world.

* What it takes to get the media to notice you
I wish I knew but I have been self studying these topics for some time and thus would love to have some confirmation or leadership in this area.

* Public Speaking opportunities for authors
I love public speaking and have thus far only received rave reviews… never as an author though… I would LOVE that!

* How to sell bulks in bulk for fast and wide distribution
Oooo… sounds most intriguing. I have some ideas for technology learning that I think would work great with some fast and wide distribution.

* Exactly how you can make your first dollar online
I have yet to do this, although I was planning to try that for 2008, potentially with a blog.
