Posted on February 17, 2008
Are you still waiting for Oprah to call?
News show, interview programs and reporters of all types now depend on blogs and social media to get their ideas.
Debbie Weil posted the stats.. 75% of reports are reading blogs
Get know online, get a blog and user profile at the social networking sites.. participate by leaving a comment when you read a good blog post. It works.

Hi Warren,
You are absolutely right! I love Social Networking!
I am on your mailing list, but it was on Facebook that you and I became friends. And then again on MySpace.
Some great people, that would otherwise be “out of reach”, are right there. It’s nice to get to see their more personal side on the Social Networking sites.
Thanks for the valuable services and information you provide, Warren. Priceless!
Robin
Imagine how many less real connections we’d get if we limited ourselves to one social networking site.
One connection is casual.. the more dialog, the better your results.
Thanks for adding one more avenue to our connection loop.

I agree, the social networking sites are great! Not only can you make a lot of personal connections, it’s a very effective and personal way to gain exposure. This is true whether you’re showcasing a personal talent, an online venture, or whatever it is that you do.
