Numbers An Author Should Know

We know that bookstores, publishers and old media are in trouble.

But not authors. There are more outlets begging for content than ever before. If you know a subject well enough to create a book, you are going to do just fine.. if you cater to the exploding global audience.

    Pretty cool to see the rapid growth.. but there is even greater numbers that we can't see.. the uncounted conversations and connections are exploding

    When I heard that there were 3 trillion SMS messages, I got thinking how we couldn't track them.. and how they are a fraction of the phone calls or face to face word of mouth conversations happening.

    Social media is just scratching the surface
